STATEMENT ON CURRENT WORK
Timothy R. Butcher’s multimedia art series entitled I Could Work All Day details a search for identity and crafts a story out of his past. These pieces use the English language in a chaotic, automatic way that works as a mechanism of the drawings. The text adds the extra dimension; it functions formally and semiotically.
